¶ Purpose
FreshLot is a software made for food manufacturing and production businesses with materials that require lot number tracking. App is built around 3 main use cases - Receiving, Production and Stock Ordering - all integrated with Microsoft Business Central. For the convenience of staff, every role has a separate direct login to reduce timely navigation through the app.
¶ Information Gathering
Collects, organizes, and centralizes key data related for required activities.
¶ Receiving
Streamlines receiving processes and empowers staff members to track the data associated to the received product all the way to the sales floor. The role utilizes LS Central inventory management module and there for uses Retail Receiving document, which should be posted using the BC client user. Upon receiving process the role allows user to print labels.
¶ Shipment
Simulates standard BC sales process in optimized & intuitive environment.
¶ Stock Counting
Optimizes repeating replenishment. This roles becomes a connector between the front and the back of the store where products are being prepared. For instance, meat department in a grocery store re-orders products many times a day. Prioritize, reorder, mark as actioned and keep on top of demand across your stores.
¶ Transfer
Allows for item movement and tracks the activities.
¶ Production
Makes it simple to scan and process vendors lot number as well as generate internal ones. When it comes to food processing, it becomes vital to register expiration dates. It gives users a view of where and how each received product is processed and used.
